House of Style: lifestyle

Hey, hey! I know I haven't been here for a while (again...). But I'm slowly coming back and hope this time permanently. That's why it's going to be one post for 2 weeks, so I had enough time to overtake everything. Seriously, it's quite a lot. Recently I started missing writing, inspiring myself and expand on fashion and beauty abilities and of course inspiring You! coming months I have to connect with some stuff, duties, and fun. It won't be easy, but I'll get it done if you help me.I'm counting on you!

Hej, hej! Wiem, że dawno mnie tu nie było (znowu...). Ale powoli wracam i mam nadzieję, że tym razem na stałe. Dlatego na razie posty będą co 2 tygodnie, abym miała czas na ogarnięcie wszystkiego. A serio jest tego sporo. Ostatnio zaczęło mi brakować pisania, a co za tym idzie inspirowania samej siebie i rozwijania zdolności modowych czy makijażowych no i inspiracji oczywiście Was! W najbliższym czasie muszę połączyć ze sobą ogarnianie kilku rzeczy, obowiązki i przyjemności. Nie będzie to proste, ale dam radę jak mi pomożecie. Liczę na was!

UNI

At the moment the most important for me are studies. That's the third year, so I'm preparing myself to undergrad. It's a bit crazy. I spend 10 hours a day at the department and in the meantime, I'm sitting in a lab and doing some experiments. And if that wasn't bad enough I've got a million reports to write and a tone of studying to exams. I admit, I'm so fed up with it, but I know it all will be worth devotion.

Aktualnie najważniejsze są dla mnie studia. To już trzeci rok, więc powoli przygotowywuję się do licencjatu. To jest trochę wariactwo. Siedzę tam po 10h dziennie na wydziale a w międzyczasie biegam do labu robić doświadczenia. A żeby tego było mało to jeszcze milion raportów do pisania i ogromy nauki do egzaminów. Przyznaję, powoli już mam serdecznie tego wszystkiego dość, ale wiem, że jest to warte poświęcenia.

JEWELRY

Every few minutes between studying I use to create a new jewelry piece. It's so relaxing for me plus the satisfaction, what gives me energy. It'd be nice to start up, but all thing in time.

Każde kilka minut przerwy w nauce wykorzystuję na stworzenie czegoś nowego z biżuterii. Relaksuje mnie to a do tego ta satysfakcja, która później dodaje mi energii do działania. Fajnie by było założyć firmę, ale wszystko w swoim czasie.

BLOG

As it turns out it's hard for me to break up with writing posts. On the other hand, having no free time or winter, when it's always dark, cold, I'm not able to do good pics or photoshoots definitely demotivates me. Oh yeah, I really miss shoots and trying clothes and then having fun in front of a lens, so all the details were caught perfectly.

Jak się okazuje ciężko mi się rozstać z pisaniem. Lecz z drugiej strony demotywuje mnie trochę brak czasu ,czy to, że jest zima, ciągle ciemno, mroźno, przez co nie jestem w stanie zrobić dobrych zdjęć czy sesji. Oj tak, sesji mi mega brakuje, przymierzania ciuchów a później zabawa i kombinowanie przed obiektywem, żeby jak najlepiej uchwycić każdy detal.

MUSIC

I guess that you already know that I can't live without music. To me, a day without music is like a wasted day. Since I discovered concerts, I can not let go some of them even if I had not enough time. Of course when it goes for Bass Astral x Igo! I really recommend you to check them out, they do such great electro! Moving back to the blog - I hope to introduce a new category connected with music, more closely reviews of gigs, festivals and even maybe CD's... about the last one I had to think.

Pewnie już wiecie, że bez muzyki nie mogę żyć. Jak dla mnie dzień bez muzyki to dzień stracony. Odkąd wkręciłam się w koncerty, niektórych nie mogę sobie odpuścić nawet jak jest krucho z czasem. Zwłaszcza Bass Astral x Igo! Serio polecam wam sprawdzenie tych dwóch wariatów, którzy robią genialne electro! Wracając do bloga - mam nadzieję wkrótce wprowadzić nową kategorię związaną z muzyką, a dokładniej recenzje koncertów, festiwali a może nawet płyt... nad tym jeszcze będę myśleć.

In the future plans, I have also video makeup tutorials, but I don't really know when I'll force myself. Let me know who waited for me and if you are going to come back? And of course how do you like my new ideas? If you have some whims I'll realize them with pleasure! Comment below. Till next time.

Yes! Finally I've finished embroidery on denim jacket! Some of you may know, that I've been doing it quite long, cause since May. But, at last it's here. Isn't it the most important? Many people asked me, why exactly this writing 'Beautiful Ones'. I got inspired by a song of my favourite band - Hurts, by the same title.

It was my worse period of time, unrequited love, some of my friends turned their backs to me, not the first time, and some others started to laugh at me because I've got a blog. I have, and what? Not because I want to be famous, cause I don't want! But it's because of my interesting in fashion and sharing my ideas. Maybe one day someone will get isnpired by me? It's would be great, but who knows. Doesn't matter, what will be, will be.

I've never had any friends who would be as interested in me as I was in them. I envy those who has their best friend, who no matter what, always will give support. I've never had and still don't have. When I thought that this could be good one, it always transpired as fake one. It's nothing nice. The same is when you don't fit to any of groups in your class. To these who you understand good, don't fit because you're 'too beautiful', to so-called elite also not, cause you can't make yourself understood with them. Now I try to be more careful with making new friends. I don't trust nobody in one hundred percent. Only these few good I have, they unfortunately live so far. Hope to see you soon.

Going back to song, it was exactly what I needed then! Lyrics were like a bull's eye! I finally started to think about me, not only about others. Slowly I stop to stress about what others think about me. I know I'm not perfect, but tell me who is? The song really motivated me to action. Thanks to it some time later I got back to the blog (admit, who's been waiting?).

It was the time I wanted to broider something on a jacket. Denim jackets were kinda must haves that time, but I wanted to have an original one. As soon as I heard this piece for the first time, I knew, that's going to be 'Beautiful Ones'! I don't part with music! I listen to it almost 24/7. I love to get inspired by it! It gives me not only an ability to show my ideas but also can change my attitude to life and make me stronger every minute.

Theo, Adam thank you for what you do, for music which inspires me all the time. Keep up the good work!

Tak! Nareszcie udało mi się skończyć haft na jeansówce! Część z was pewnie wie, że trochę długo się z tym bawiłam, bo aż od maja. No, ale w końcu jest. To chyba najważniejsze, co? Wiele osób mnie pyta dlaczego akurat napis 'Beautiful Ones'. Zainspirowała mnie do tego piosenka mojego ulubionego zespołu - Hurts, pod tym samym tytułem.

Miałam wtedy gorszy okres, nieodwzajemniona miłość, część znajomych się ode mnie odwróciła, z resztą nie pierwszy raz, a kolejni zaczęli się ze mnie nabijać, że mam bloga. No mam, i co? Nie dlatego, że chcę być sławna, bo nie chcę! Lecz dlatego, że lubię modę i dzielenie się moimi pomysłami. A może kogoś kiedyś sama zainspiruje? Byłoby super, ale kto wie. No, nieważne, będzie co będzie.

Nigdy nie miałam znajomych, którzy by się mną interesowali tak jak ja nimi. Zazdroszczę takim ludziom, którzy mają prawdziwą przyjaciółkę/przyjaciela, który niezależnie od wszystkiego, zawsze wesprze. Ja takiej nigdy nie miałam i nadal nie mam. Jedynie każda, która myślałam, że będzie taką, po paru latach okazywała się fałszywa. Nie jest to miłe. Tak samo jeśli nie pasujesz do żadnej z grupek, które tworzą się w klasie. Do tych, z którymi się dogadujesz nie pasujesz, bo jesteś 'za ładna', a do tak zwanej elity, też nie, bo nie potrafisz się z nimi dogadać. Teraz staram się być ostrożna z nowymi znajomościami. Nikomu nie ufam w stu procentach. Te kilka najlepszych, które aktualnie mam, są niestety na dosyć dużą odległość. Mam nadzieję, że szybko uda mi się z wami zobaczyć.

Wracając do piosenki, to było dokładnie to czego wtedy potrzebowałam! Tekst był strzałem w dziesiątkę! Zaczęłam myśleć w końcu o sobie a nie tylko o innych. Powoli przestaję się stresować tym co inni o mnie pomyślą. Wiem, że nie jestem idealna, ale powiedzcie mi, kto jest? Piosenka mega zmotywowała mnie do działania. Dzięki temu również jakiś czas później wróciłam znowu do bloga (przyznać się, kto czekał?).

Własnie akurat wtedy miałam ochotę , żeby wyhaftować coś na kurtce. Akurat był szał na jeansówki, ale ja, jak to ja chciałam mieć oryginalną. Jak usłyszałam ten kawałek po raz pierwszy, wiedziałam, już że będzie to 'Beautiful Ones'! Nie rozstaję się z muzyką! Słucham, jej niemalże 24/7. Uwielbiam się nią też inspirować! Nie tylko daje mi ona możliwości do pokazania moich pomysłów ale również potrafi zmienić nastawienie do życia i czyni mnie silniejszą w każdej chwili.

Theo, Adam, dziękuję wam za to co robicie, muzykę, która mnie za każdym razem inspiruje. Trzymajcie tak dalej!

Hi guys! How are you feeling because of the Christmas time? :D I'm really good, but sooooo busy, like before every holidays. I love the atmosphere of Christmas, but this year I don't feel it at all. Maybe it's because I have too much study which is related to my upcoming final exams. Anyways, I'm so happy for spending the time with family and having a little break from studying.

As Christmas are one of the most important holidays in polish tradition, it's significant to look braw. I put on simply but classic outfit. Asymetric white top and black skinny jeans I completed with leather black heeled pumps and grey statement necklace. Every item isn't anything special. But after matching them together the outfit looks more sophisticated than separately. I really like this style: simply and elegant. I'm still looking for my style, so it changes everyday. In conclusion I can say that not always sophisticated and expensive clothes are better.

If it goes on makeup, like always, I used my favourite Naked2 palette for eyes. Silvery-brown shades are always smart and not too heavy. The silver pigment gives you fresh look and attracts attention on eyes. Using smoky eyes pencil in the outer corners of the eye makes it a little bit bigger and your lashes darker and somethimes longer too. For this type of eye makeup, the best is volumising mascara so lashes look healthy. This time I finished the look with brown-nude shinny lipstick, which gave me elegant finish. The base of the makeup (foundation etc.) is the same I'm doing every time.

Decorations. My favourite part of Christmas! I always prepare my room for the holidays. I set some snow globes and candles every year. Sometimes I add other winter decorations like angel figurines. I really like every type of pendant decorations: stars, angels, hearts or the simplests with only inscription 'Merry Christmas'. If my favourite glass balls aren't on the Christmas tree, I take them to my room and lay down on furniture. It's the simplest form but the most gorgerous one. On the bed and window frame I set lights - the most festive decoration. It brings the room fairy appearance.

Here in Poland we have many traditions connected with Christmas. The most known are: wafer sharing, 12 dishes and leaving one additional place at the table. We also listen to and sing Christmas carols, which is so beautiful. I love the most decorating the Christmas tree and puting the presents under it which are given on 24th of December. This year I was on midnight Mass first time and I really love the atmosphere of it! I don't know why I haven't been on it earlier. Anyways, there is much more tradistions, but it's long to talk about it. Maybe next time ;)
